DESCRIPTION:
The inefficiency of a paint to hide or "cover" the surface on which it was applied.
CAUSES:
- Paint applied at lower spreading rate than recommended
- Excessive thinning
SOLUTION:
Excessive leveling of paint film thickness or uneven paint application at each roll / brush affects the hiding power by favoring color differences on the support. Observe the manufacturer's recommended indications and application instructions. A too high dilution of the paint may diminish the aesthetic and strength properties of the product. Dilution may change depending on actual application conditions.
