Azur SA is a chemical manufacturer and worldwide supplier of resins, food flavors, metal working fluids, paints, coatings, sheet molding compounds and glass-fiber reinforced composites.
The mission of Azur SA is to deliver high quality products and to support our customers and partners with prompt sales and flexible logistics services. High quality procedures and standards have been set to ensure the achievement of our challenging business goals through the coordinated efforts of all our employees. Azur SA is strongly committed to achieve compliance with all relevant legislation and other requirements that are associated with our activities.
By having in place an Integrated Management System (IMS), Azur SA has been able to integrate its systems and processes for quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety into one framework. The framework ensures that risks are identified, communicated and controlled in all areas of our operations, with the ultimate objective to achieve zero work incidents, no environmental harm and 100% product quality compliance. Azur SA carries out the activities necessary to maintain and continuously improve its IMS addressing the requirements of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety).
Azur SA desires to enhance its overall performance, recognizing the need to:
- Provide and maintain safe plant, equipment and machinery, ensuring that all the spaces under its control will remain, as far as possible, without risks for employees and for visitors/ subcontractors who use the premises, for the purposes approved by Azur SA.
- Prevent environmental pollution (in line with environmental objectives) by assessing and analyzing the environmental aspects and impacts associated with its business operations and work towards environmental sustainability by making responsible business decisions.
- Provide appropriate quality, environmental, health and safety information, training, instruction and resources to its employees (and those working for or on behalf of Azur SA) to enable them to carry out their duties safely and effectively.
- Consult with and involve employees in any quality, environmental, health and safety matters applicable to the company’s activities.
- Continuous improvement of energy usage and energy efficiency.
Senior Management is committed to provide necessary resources, personnel, information, instruction and training to enable the company to meet the needs and expectations of all its interested parties such as our employees, our customers and suppliers, the community and our shareholders.
This IMS policy will be regularly reviewed for continuing suitability and relevance to the context of Azur SA as outlined in the IMS manual and is available to all stakeholders.
